She definitely is a charmer. She’s much more friendly (from my perspective) since she learned toes are not edible. Any time I’m in there she is under foot.

That’s all the plants we’re adding this year. The wife has her eyes on edible plants and a blueberry bush for when they come out of hibernation. They live in the open plains around here so don’t want to over crowd it with plants.

We look at it as a ongoing project that can always use improvement. Each year it’ll get better.

Box turtles need to feel safe in their enclosures. plants help them hide and feel safe. This is my enclosure.
