I am the tortoise-sitter for some school tortoises, redfoots. One has disappeared and we have been hunting for him since Wednesday but no luck, yet. Fortunately we are in Louisiana and he is somewhere in the yard, we are keeping our hopes up. I am looking for a replacement just in case. Please send the escapee tortoise good vibes and mental messages to make himself findable. Thanks & nice to meet y'all!

Weclome! Check in the early morning when they come out in the sun to warm up. That's when I always find my missing tortoises. Good luck! :)

Hi alwaystj9:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

Have you discovered how the tortoise escaped? Could someone have stolen it?

Hi! Are they from one school and one classroom or several? How many tortoises in all? How did you get the sitter job?

Hello and welcome. I find it helpful to get down at tortoise level and crawl around when I need to find a good hider. Good luck.
