Does it mean we can't keep different species? can we keep them in a rack but each species live in their own enclosure?

Thanks
Andy

in a rack? what type of enclosure can you make in a rack?

I guess it depends on type... don't mix species.. and some don't like keeping some close to others.. and it one is sick.. they have a separate room.

As long as they are not in the same enclosure and they have no way of contacting each others bodily fluids, like on your hands, cage utensils, etc... You should be okay. Be aware, however, that some pathogenic organisms can be spread by those little substrate flies as they buzz from enclosure to enclosure.

thanks tom and laura, that means we have to separate them in a different room. I'm going to do a custom glass enclosure with front slide cover, 120cm x 45cm x 60cm (WxDXH), for babies, with basking spot and water dish on the right side, humid hide on the left, hopefully i can get a gradient temperature from 110f on the right to 85 on the left.

Thanks
Andy
