Hiya, hope this post is in the right place as im new to this forum so it's a bit confusing!!!
I live in the UK and currently its winter and temps at night are getting very low, like under 10°c, so I'm swapping my redfoots basking lamp for a ceramic heat emitter but I'm currently confused about what watt I should use. I've already purchased a thermostat to control the temp. The tortoise table Kobe is in is just under 5 ft long (1.5 metres) and 2 ft wide. I currently have a shaded ceramic clamp lamp for it to go in, but the max height I can have it is 10 inches from the substrate, so basically should I go for a 60W, 75W or 100W or even higher? Thanks in advance for any replies!!!x
