I’ve kept a growing collection of Indian Stars for the last three years. The oldest is a male I’ve had since he was a 30g hatchling, he now weighs over 800g. He eats everything in sight and is very active. I follow the advice prescribed on this forum quite closely in terms of habitat and husbandry, temperatures range between very high 20’s to very low 30’s (*C) with humidity consistently 75%>.

Diet is mostly shop bought by necessity but is a varied mix of romaine, spring greens, kale, radicchio, rocket, chicory etc with occasional weeds where possible and supplemented with soaked pellets and a nutrobal/calcium dust mix once a week or so. He’s soaked a couple of times a week in warm water and always has access to a bowl of fresh tap water.

Since he was small, he’s had a runny, sometimes bubbly nose and made occasional ‘sinusy’ popping noises.

My question is, given that he presents in all other ways healthy and active, even if his attitude usually stinks, should I be more concerned about this as a health issue?

Photos attached don’t show the issue, they’re just in case you want to check him out 👍.

Runny or bubbly nose isn't always R.I. It could be allergy or stress. If you want to figure out if it's allergy, only change one thing at a time and wait to see if it makes a difference.
