My Russian boy Flash was hungry, and my dad decided to get my mom roses when he got home from work earlier. She decided to take a few of the rose petals and feed them to him as a treat, but I was a little hesitant and I looked up if they could eat roses. I told her right away that they shouldn’t eat store-bought petals because they could have chemicals on them, and she quickly took the petals and leaves away, but he had already taken 3-4 bites out of them. Should I be concerned, or will he be fine? He’s eating lettuce right now and seems fine, but I tend to get anxious about my pets.

Yes they shouldn't eat store bought flowers. However, a couple as a mistake shouldn't cause any problems. Just keep an eye on him the next couple days and give a warm water soak daily. Everything should be fine, don't worry.

Yup, Russians really love roses. Just soak the tortoise more than you normally do for a couple days and he should be ok (like Wellington said).
