How warm or hot should the water be when I'm soaking Mrs.Turtle. My temp gun says one side of the tub is 95 degrees and the other half is 86.

You are in the ballpark. I swirl the water to try and keep it the same temperature through out the tray. I aim for 93 degrees. My tortoises seem to really like their soaks around that temperature. Lower (around 85) and they are ready to leave. Hotter and I am not comfortable.

Thanks! I wanted to make sure I wasn't boiling her.

Yep, i agree, with the warmer side. Cooler soaking temps and it seems like they are in a hurry to get out. Our sully in fact likes his soaking temps near 105. Seems hot i know, but he likes and gets squirmy at anything much less than 100.

Yeah it seems weird to but them in such hot water but they like it!
