I’m so surprised how these guys grow
It makes me want to get a hatchling because I never got the chance to have a young non pyramiding (mine was dry started)
But anyways your doing a great job I have saved this post for if I do get a hatchling to see what you fed yours to grow like a weed

And it looks like Clunker also wants to see his weight.

Some interesting bath time behavior today. I've heard of torts being able to drink from the water running off their shells but never expected to see it from Clunker.
I always run water across his shell during soaks but today he bowed up and cocked his head to the side and started snapping it up. It was absolutely fascinating to watch!

That's awesome, my guy just puts his head under water when I put water on his shell. That's really cool you were able to catch it on camera, awesome picture.

His head looks kinda dainty to me. It could be my imagination.
When I mentioned that he had a girly head to my husband he says "No! I want him to be a boy, I'm the only guy here"
We have a daughter, three female dogs and even our leopard gecko is female..

Clunker looks more and more handsome everyday. And he is growing so well. Shame I feel for your hubby being surrounded by females, at least the female animals don't get pms (I hope) otherwise you will have a house full of cranky females and I can see why he would need some male support. Ha Ha Ha
