First and foremost I want to thank all of you wonderful tortoise folks in this forum for your help and guidance regarding my My Indian Star Tortoise Squirt who just turn one year old this month. He weighs 3.70 oz.If it were not for you knowledgeable tortoise parents I totally believe my Squirt would NOT be alive today.I had Sulcatas and many different species of water turtles but Indian Star Tortoises require a whole different care regime. @Tom
I don't know what happen but it's like a light switch turned on.He used to hide in his cave a lot and any time he saw me if he was out he would go right back in his cave. Now when he sees me he comes out and is very active. When I open the front glass door he comes over. I talk to him and I swear he hears me.The weather has warmed here and on sunny days I started taking him out on the grass for more exercise and grazing. His personality is showing finally and I'm so smitten🥰:tort::<3::tort::<3::tort::<3:
