Remember that turtle/tortoise PBS special last year? There was one segment of Timmy the tortoise who lived on the grounds of a castle in England and had a sign hanging from the back of his carapace saying do not pick up. Here's a sad link:

Oh wow, what an amazinggggggg story !!! Yvonne thank you so much for sharing that with us - he lived a long happy life it seemed. Incredible about him living right through the war!

That's crazy. Talk about a will to live. What a wonderful and adventurous life he must have had. Sad to hear he is gone, but amazing he lived so long. What a great story. Thanks for sharing
