Tortoise Nails

Good day,

My name is Arnanca and i have a baby leopard tortoise Izzy. We are from South Africa but i just really need some advice. On her left foot she lost 1 nail and now she is busy loosing another.But only on her left foot. Is this normal will they grow back? There is nothing hard in her enclosure,what could be the cause? Please help or should i take her to the Vet?

Perhaps the tort simply injured the area and as a result the nails are shedding during healing....this is the only tort in the enclosure?
