Oh poor baby!! Shell rot and moisture are a bad combo it’s unfortunate that she’s a slider have you been dry docking her as well as the medicated baths? You will want to set her up a hospital enclosure where she will be kept warm and dry for most of the day letting her swim for an hour twice a day to use the bathroom and eat. I would recommend doing the medicated soak in the morning and allowing her to fully dry from that for a few hours before swimming for the hour. Now it doesn’t look so bad I would say it could take as little as 2-4 weeks if this doesn’t help or you notice it getting worse it could be time to go to the vet she may need an ointment of some kind the shell rot can be bacterial and or fungal. I can’t stress how important it is to still let her swim for small amounts of time to rehydrate throughout the day but she can’t have access to water all the time right now! My turtle have shell rot
• I did try betadine and it worked extremely slow View attachment 401387View attachment 401388
• I used it for 30 day ( I used 30ml of betadine)
I don't if it can be healed if it just take time or if she will die.
She is 17 years old
