Ah thank you for telling me I will post it on there now. The vet has diluted the antibiotics just for her and she will be having them every 3 days via injection. We haven’t been able to go in with her due to COVID but that is what we’ve been told. We have already seen some improvements so things are definitely looking upI am glad to hear there’s hope for little Peggy. I was wondering how things went, but I had been watching the original thread for the update. Just out of curiosity, how do you give her the antibiotics with her being so tiny? Please keep us posted on her progress.
It’s all we can do to help. It’s already helping her and the antibiotics are very diluted. What is the infection? I wouldn't give antibiotic injections to a tortoise that small. Your probably going to do more harm than good.
Helping her with what? What were the original symptoms the tortoise had to make you take it to the vet, coughing, mucus discharge, lack of appetite, etc? What tests did the doctor do to determine antibiotics were needed? It’s all we can do to help. It’s already helping her and the antibiotics are very diluted.
There was a grey mucus like liquid in her egg and she hasn’t been eating. We did not see what the tortoise specialist did but I believe that what she thinks is best for out tortoise is correct.Helping her with what?
