What do you mean waterbowl? Thats his whole enclosure - They're aquatic, right? J/K...

I was using the mortar to grind calcium carbonate, but the size and rounded base make it a good soaking bowl for Chief. I'll take the camera out this weekend and post some updated pics.

Chief gained 6 grams this week! The little piggie!

Here's an updated photo showing his new growth and a video of him trying to walk across the lawn.

He's now 44 grams, with a 5.3cm long plastron.

If you're interested in getting a sully, I highly recommend him. This is a very healthy, well started baby tortoise.

I wish I could kiss this baby! When I got mine, they were just at adorable, only Chief has better poses then my ever had. Just love that last one with his head resting on the mortar. It's like he's saying, "This is really hard work."
