Seriously -- now that this little guy is an air breathing reptile he will have to rely on his "yolk-sac" to nourish him, etc. Even after his yolk-sac is absorbed he will rely on the internal to feed him for several more days!
Another reason for starting this thread is to explain the importance of making sure who we get our hatchlings from. IF a hatchling has not established good eating habits before it is shipped, etc. - most likely it will have health issues for awhile. And most newbies don't know how to deal with the stress that is created and the fact that their baby won't eat.. understandably! It make take a week before this little guy will take his first bite of anything.. AFTER his yolk-sac is entirely absorbed!!! How do you deal with that? Most vets sure don't know.
