Bobs been sleeping like this for the past few days, at first i thought he didnt like the new soil ive used but hes fine with the during the day but he decides to sleep like this, could he be too hot as we've been having temp into the 40c lately.

I know his water looks dirty, he likes to drag his soil into it whenever i change it!

It almost looks like it's trying to reach higher for heat. That is strange though!

It's hard to say why he does this. I do know the disc you are using for temps/humidity is not accurate and you should invest in one that is. He could be too hot. He also could just like that position.

They often sleep in ways thst look uncomfortable positionsy.if he was to warm he would be pacing frantically looking for somewhere to cool down. A sleeping tortoise usually denotes a happy tortoise

Hahaha dang. Mine will sleep up against the side of the cage and stretch his legs out then he turns his head to the left and presses up against the side of the cage and passes out lol. When my redfoot naps in his basking area he spreads out and crosses his back feet lol.
