she dug a hole and then stayed in this position. could she be nesting? or just chilling?
How long have you had the tort for? These cute little animals take time to get used to: new place, environment, owner, climate, and all the rest. So if it's new to the place and to you, of course, then please be patient. I have come to a conclusion: only very patient people can deal with a tort/have a tort as a pet. (Please don't take this personal).she hid there the whole day. i took her out from the corner and she only ate when hand fed, then goes back to that spot.
Oh yes, it's going to take some time till it gets used to its new enclosure, so please take it easy.i've had her more than 10 years since she was a hatcling smaller than my palm. could be the new enclosure as i just had this setup few days ago.
