Outside of reality, I would love a Aldabra, or Galapagos. I'm sure that is never going to happen.
Inside of reality, I have been doing alot of research on a Diamondback Terrapin. I just love Redfoot Nerds and Kristina's DBT!! I think they are gorgeous, however, I have NEVER had a water turtle. And then of course finding one.....
Having spent my young adult years in Kansas, I am super-fond of box turtles. I would love to have a happy colony of ornates, and turn my one Hermann into a happy colony as well!
i would love a russian and a redfoot and an indian star and an egyptian and the list goes on and on..
but the main thing i owuld like is a nice house with a huge yard.
How much typing space do we get? First off, I'll need several acres of land, a heated, insulated, 100x50' indoor reptile room, and a few million dollars to make it all happen. I'm way beyond wanting a single animal of any species. I want several breeding groups of each of the following:
Galops
Gpp
Ivory Sulcatas (I'll be keeping my current group of regular sulcatas until I die of old age too.)
Eastern Hermanns
CDT
TT
Geochelone playtynota
Platysternon megacephalum
Manouria emys phayeri
Geochelone radiata
This would be my dream compound and when I win the lottery you guys can come see it all in person. I'll need the several million $ so that I don't have to go to work everyday and can spend all day, every day maintaining them and building new stuff for them. I'll need to hire a caretaker or two as well. Anyone want to apply for the job?
Yes. Whoever works for me will get full medical coverage, a good salary, free rent in a nice house, utilities paid, and and acre or two for their own animals.
...then I'm in too! And I offer the same in reverse (should I win)
Now! For my list! Since I have Aladar, I couldn't imagine anything better! However, I would not mind the following as permanent residents (in no particular order)
RV
Perseus
Bob
Big Mama
Since I know their owners would NEVER part with them...I shoot for the following...
A herd of F1 sulcatas
A herd of Ivory sulcatas
A herd of Galapagos
A colony of Amazon Basin emeralds
A pair of baby Komodos (less chance of ending up on the menu later if they imprint on me now )
A pride of white lions
A pack of African hunting dogs
A herd of African elephants
A pair of Sumatran rhinos
A pair of King cheetahs
A bigger house and property with all the amenities to keep these animals comfortably
