This is her inside enclosure,Picture 1883 copy.jpg It's my simple version of a closed chamber. Most heat is from under the tank using 3 separate homemade heating tiles that use a maximum 32 watts. The 2 copper tubes are golden rods that use 8 watts each max.The light is a florescent tube. This is where she spends her nights and early mornings. That's her in the bowl getting a soak. I do it inside the enclosure so the water doesn't cool down. Using this shaped bowl she cant get out or flip herself over. The next 2 pics are her tasting some foods I offered her this morning before going outsidePicture 1885 copy.jpg Picture 1888 copy.jpgThis is her outside enclosurePicture 1881 copy.jpg Picture 1882 copy.jpgI shower it down several times a day to keep it moist. She has been grazing on the weeds and grasses growing inside the area just like an older tortoise would do.I do frequent checks to make sure she hasn't flipped over during the day. so far so good.
