Similar to carrot soaks for tortoises, room temperature green tea baths are usef for snails. Maybe give it a try? Make sure the water won't reach Gary's breathing vent!

Thank you so very much for the advice I will try ANYTHING!!
God bless you!

Good evening everyone!

I hope GGGGGAAAARRRYYYY's okay. He's one of the cutest snails that I've ever seen. The door should have been fixed today but thank goodness I'm not in that room again until Saturday so someone else can test it out. Yes I have locked out of the old flat and student accommodation as well as in the bathrooms of hotels! It's been a lovely day here with a beautiful sunset. When I was out earlier I heard Blue **** singing to each other and I think I saw a Pied Wagtail. Whilst I was having lunch at the Cliffs Pavilion I thought I could see Brent Geese bobbing up and down on the River Thames. Anyway I have been thinking of Pasty and it is beyond me how NE could treat him like that knowing how I have worried about Jacky and Daisy over the years.

Goodnight everyone

If I were you I would make sure that door stays open on Saturday!!
Tie it to another knob or stick something under it so it can’t close!
I will be worried all day Saturday about you!!
If I have to come hold it open all day for you I will!! … and I’m bringing Gary! 🫤

Some say it needs to be heavily diluted, like 1/4 of green tea and 3/4 of water. (This is beacause some studies show too much caffeine harming the snails). Some recommend chamomile instead:

Diluting instructions:

The bath doesn't solve any underlying issues per say, but sometimes helps them to perk up. It is also used for parasite control. There is conflicting info about how helpful the baths really are, just like with tortoises....

Natrah I hope you are ok after that experience. It’s a bit unsettling isn’t it.
I remember finding myself locked in a toilet at work & waiting for someone to come in to help. No one did so I had to climb over the top of the cubicle into the next one. My skirt was covered in thick dust which i attempted to wipe off leaving big dark wet patches! I then proceeded back to my office desk with no one aware of what had happened. I could feel the bruises starting to appear as it was a bit of a scramble to get over the top 🤣
I can't stop thinking about this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

*Edwards mom 😅

Edward is doing well, he had a short spell when he was eating a tom and gained back all the weight he had lost during the winter months.

I changed his enclosure a bit on the weekend putting a new slate in and changing the decor around. Also fixed his ramp and put it back to place. All this to say Edward has been investigating whether he could escape now that the layout is different 😂

Good evening everyone!

After dreaming about Donald Trump in Leigh I had a hairdressing appointment there today and afterwards I went to one of my favourite cafes for lunch and Coffee and Walnut Cake. The baker was my former hairdresser who at one had three jobs hairdressing, baking and as a classroom assistant at my old school. I also think of mum and particularly dad when I go to this cafe because it was just round the corner from the old house and very handy for me as a carer.

The weather was lovely today so I expect Zola went out. Angie how are your headaches I hope feeling better?

Goodnight everyone

Hello Natrah - the weather here was really poor - a noisy, windy night, and then quite heavy rain most of the day - and very cold too ! We did take Zola out, but he saw the sea from his dad's coat, thats all .My headaches have been pretty bad, but I am going to the hospital on Thursday for my injections- it's 10 weeks since the last ones, instead of 6, and I am praying that they will work quickly.
One nice thing - Richard went out of the back door, and realised that the robin was looking at him, so he hurried to get the mealworms, and the robin ate 8 straight off, while standing on his hand, just like old times. We will stock up on worms when we go to the hospital, as there is a good pet shop near there, and we need to feed the robin up well !
I hope you have seen the last of Donald Trump in your dreams, as I don't think him hanging about would be conducive to you getting a good sleep !
Love to you and all my forum friends from Angie xxxxxxxxxx

Good evening again everyone!

Sue I think the bruises that I've found on my leg come from trying to force the door open on Saturday! I can't feel them but they look colourful! Angie I'm sorry that you've had bad headaches when do you have the injections again? I hope you have better weather tomorrow it's raining here at the moment so the robin should be in your garden again.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah
