Good afternoon everyone!

Zola we hope your mum has her appointment soon and that she's feeling better today. Are having another walk on the Breakwater?

After my drowning session I was put into the enclosure where I got straight down to my housework. Sherman is this what you do in your enclosure?

Sherman has a large stainless steel dish inside a wooden frame attached to the shed wall so he can’t tip it over! Pete has had to mend it in the past though.
Dickie scratches up the newspaper & cloth in her enclosure like Jacky & walks through her water dish! At least she is able to go outside for a while when it’s sunny so gets rid of some of her energy ☺️

Hello all - I have discovered that there are a lot of photos of Zola's breakwater on Google - without Zola in them, of course - under the heading Bude Breakwater - and also photos of Bude in general, some of which are very good.

Jacky's first meal without me having to hand feed her.

Natrah

PS: I'd like to see more photos of Edward, Dickie, Sherman and Zola on the Breakwater

Hello Natrah - I haven't been on the breakwater for a few days as it has been quite cold and very windy.
Instead, I have been exercising in my conservatory, and then having a long rest with my mum by the fire. My mum's cousin sent us a Lidl gift token, to get a special food treat recently, but instead we got 3 large azaela plants with lots of buds on - they have been in my room in the warm, and have now opened up amazingly well - my dad took a photo of them outside today (for a better background )
- they are lovely !az1.jpgMy dad has been seeing an unfamiliar bird in the garden recently - it is a Black-Cap - also we seem to have 2 or 3 hedgehogs around - it is so nice to see them.
Lots of love from Zolaxxxxxxxxxx and from Angie xxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

Those Azaleas are beautiful Zola and you're very lucky to have them in your conservatory. It feels cooler here although Jacky has been very active in her enclosure. She buried herself under the water tray again and tucked into dandelions.

I did some clearing up and then I set up the new TV box. It took me a while to set it up and I think that Dickie's mum, Sue could have done a better job than me as she is very technically minded. I tried to look at the eclipse but I couldn't see much. However I did hear a Goldfinch near the flat yesterday. We get Black Caps in Hadleigh Castle Country Park which is not far from here.

Did anyone else see the partial eclipse? How about you two Edward and @Chefdenoel10?

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy

PS: @Chefdenoel10 I hope you're okay and I know you miss Gary.

I didn’t see any eclipse but then I didn’t know about it until tonight!
Dickie managed to hide herself in the garden today after I gave her some dandelions. I couldn’t find her at all & was starting to wonder if she had somehow managed to get through to the neighbours garden. Luckily Pete found her when he got home. She was in the far corner next to the fence & the hedgehog box & was well camouflaged!
I doubt very much if I could even have plugged in your new TV box Natrah let alone set it up 🤣 I hear Chef is pretty good with tech so ….!
I think you have a natural ability to sort things out Natrah, you managed to put together Jackys enclosure & the lamps & thermostat ( I remember a very techy person giving you advice on another forum that went straight over my head!)
I have a pink Azalia in a pot outside next to the patio door. It’s beautiful when it flowers & has survived all the weather for many years. It’s very hardy. I also have a large Rhododendron which is in bud so it won’t be long before it flowers, beautiful red pink petals. That’s in a pot as well as the soil in the garden isn’t the right type for them. I remember seeing a lot of Rhododendrons in Devon so lovely.

Good evening everyone!

We've had quite a good day and I felt quite rejuvenated after my drowning session this morning. I was also weighed on my favourite scales and Natrah was quite pleased with my weight. Natrah was very busy defrosting the food fridge today before going out to lunch and to pick my favourite dandelions. She said it was too breezy for me to go out and when I can get back to my normal diet I can go out. Apart from the dandelions and grass I have been having Romaine Lettuce and the odd tomato.

Natrah enjoyed lunch at the Cliffs Pavilion before going to buy flowers for her mum and my previous mum. She also heard the wren and some goldfinches whilst she was out. Anyway I bet Zola went out and Dickie you remind me of Daisy hiding under the garden rubbish or making nests in the pink sack🤣🤣🤣. She also scraped her shell as a souvenir from when she tried to get under the fence and go next door 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣!

Goodnight everyone

Jacky, Angel Daisy and Natrah esterday it was sunny eView attachment 389170View attachment 389171
Dear Natrah - Yesterday it was sunny and quite hot, so we all went to get the next radicchios, and to look for lambs on the way - it was a lovely drive, with lots of wild flowers by the roads - primroses, celandines, and lots of daffodils - but still very few lambs, and only from a distance.
Richard has had an email from his sister in Canada, who has been trying to sort out somewhere for his brother to go, as he has dementia, which is getting worse (he is only 74) Finally he is settled in a home where he says he is happy, and the staff there are really good - they are even arranging for a volunteer to go with him on walks - he used to wander off from his previous place a lot. I think I told you he was hoping to get married to a woman he met online, but it was a scam, of course, and I think she took all his money - fortunately the state has agreed to pay for him to stay in this new place - there is no way any of his family could help financially. His sister has been wonderfully persistent - as a child, she was a bully to her siblings, but now, of course, she has been fantastic ! We are very relieved, as it seemed at one point that Harry would be thrown out on the street by his landlord. It's really sad - Harry is such a nice person, but was always a little bit odd.
Tomorrow we get our Covid injections - not much fun, but a good thing, I think.
I hope all is well with you and Jacky - Zola has never liked being drowned.

Good evening everyone!

Angie I hope Harry settles into the care home very well. My perception of care homes changed totally when dad went into his. He was dancing, exercising, taking part in quizzes and of course I went in and played the violin. Dad also had a couple of female admirers! I also hope you two are okay after your injections. Have you heard about your other injections?

Sue and Edward how are you? Will you be breaking up for Easter soon Edward? I think I'm going to have quite a few days off over Easter because a lot of pupils are away? This will give me time to catch up with myself. Jacky has been waking up at 9.00 am and going to bed at 2.30 pm but otherwise she's okay.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Jacky and Angel Daisy
