Sapphire got to go out today for the day. I always plant him in his basking water plant saucer when I bring him inside. today he so enjoyed it. He drank a lot, sat awhile, and then waltzed off into his enclosure. Mr Fre got to go out on his leash when I took Sapphire out. Again when I brought Sapphire in. Also when I did some outside chores. He really enjoyed being outside Dilly is being himself. A lazy old cat with his best friend. My lazy brother. The two of them are peas in a pod .

He seems fine Thankyou. Opted not to take him for the blood test so just keeping an eye on him. He’s getting old bless him & has a heart murmur so trying to encourage a stress free as possible life but he still thinks he’s King of the street
The budgies have been squabbling a bit tonight I think. Every so often there’s a kerfuffle in the cage & George races over with intent watching eagerly. The new budgie Dusty is very spooky & I don’t know if it is squabbling or her just getting spooked about something. It’s definitely her though. The towel is over them so I can’t see when it happens.
Perhaps she’s having a bad dream that a big beady eyed tabby cat is staring at her. Hope they’re ok…zzzzzz

I was chatting to the new neighbours who said that the previous neighbour owed £6500 in council tax bringing a total debt of £13500!

Talking of messes this is what Dickie did this morning before I put her outside. I could hear her banging about when I was still upstairs!

I have changed from some newspaper to the big brown yard scrap bags. I just cut them to fit the area that I use paper. Sapphire can't do that anymore the thick brown paper can also be wiped a bit before you have to change it out.

I remember when you recommended carpet strips for Jacky and Daisy to walk on. They have been magnificent and easy to clean.

However I need to get on with other things as well like watching Secret Garden.

Here our city sanitation asks you to put your yard waste in them and they pick it up for you. They're pretty cheap and easily found in our stores. They then compost it bag and all.

Sapphire I like to bury myself under the carpet strips but Natrah sometimes comes along and pulls me out. Zola, Dickie and Edward do you do this? Natrah has her dental checkup tomorrow and another ear suction appointment on Saturday so I'm going to do what like in her absence!

I was supposed to be getting on with the washing and doing a lot of cleaning before going to the pupils but it started a bit later than anticipated because after saying good morning to everyone I was unable to give Jacky her breakfast straight away due to a leaking tortoise! This meant that the first thing I had to do was to clean her enclosure!

Know exactly what you mean! Dickie has been doing toilets in her bed area on her way out into the enclosure. She then does another wee where she stops. All before having my breakfast!
Dickie is eating well & is gaining weight. Still have to get her started & throughout the day prompt her to eat with more fresh food. Plenty of dandelions about & sunshine. She doesn’t like it too hot & this Spring weather we’re having is just right for her. Happy lazy tortoise at the moment!
Hope your ear suction goes ok on Saturday. How often does it need doing? Is it connected to your sinus problems?

Yes it's the same with Jacky but I'm hoping to get her out again soon. They keep saying it's getting warmer here but I needed the heating on at lunchtime. Cathie, Edward and Angie how is it for you three. Yes my sinuses have been affecting my ears. Can't wait for tomorrow.
