RE: Are they terratorial

Did he get you? That hurts.

Torts can be very territorial, some more than others. However, I've never seen a tort bite a person out of aggression. As GB suggested, he probably mistook a piece of you for food. I've had my toes nicked a couple times for that reason.

Are they terratorial

Hehe one of mine has been recently I was spot cleaning his enclosure I placed his new food in and was picking out dirt and he ran right at me really fast and was chasing my hand with his mouth open, he didn't want food as at one point he climbed over all his fresh food to get to me lol. He is rather hormonal at the moment tho lol he has discovered his boy bits!

LOL....I have a redfoot here, Goliath....he is a rocker and a rammer....he tucks in and jacks up his back end, extending his legs as far as they will go and then runs at my hand---very funny (well, to me it is) he does not try to bite my hand or anything but he does do the bump and ram---while his head is tucked in....and torts can be uber fast....lol
