Yes same here. The one that's finally showing up every day is really smaller. He won't be small for long though! He's out there several times a day and sucking up lots of nectar when he's here. He's the first one I've seen this year and I would have noticed since I've spent most of the year recuperating from this and that on my couch birdwatching.
Same here never heard of it. And there is that risk and others. They told me that many people that go through it though have it done often because they feel so good afterwards. They told me to call when I'm ready to go through it. I'm not sure I'll ever be unless he thinks I really need it. I've had a lot of simple medical procedures turn really scary so I think twice.Wash your lungs out!I've never heard of that, I would be worried about the risk of pneumonia if it involves fluid in the lungs. I'm sure it's a routine procedure for your doc though.

Have so much fun on your trip! I'll have to try spelt grains. I'm always game to try something new to eat besides the same old thing. It makes life interesting.
I also need to know, now that I googled, was it in the bread? Or was it a veggie burger?

now what do I do!!!??? Should I put up another feeder? Or let them have their fun? Only 2 won't eat enough to warrant 2 feeders yet I want any hummingbird that visits me to have enough to eat. I'm in a dilemma

I've been to another funeral today this time for a neighbour who lived to the grand old age of 100.
I set off for the local church just as the heavens opened only to find that I was an hour early.
The church was still locked, so I came home again. Thankfully there was a break in the rain and the sun was shining for my second walk to and from the church.
We have a thunderstorm warning for this afternoon but it may miss us.

rain today. It's been raining on and off all day. It didn't stop the hummingbirds though. They've been fighting and sucking up nectar all day. I think one is guarding the feeder.
