What's the red stuff in the center?
Yes. It was nice how they really tried to restore it exactly like it was. I admire the skilled people it takes to do something like that.I will be reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame in honour of the day and the fact that The great cathedral has reopened it's doors to the public again at last, after years of restoration! Hoooray!!!!!!!!!!
BAH HUMBUG!!It is the Finnish independence day tomorrow, and we have it off, so I will be travelling tonight to see my parents. It is kinda of a part of the "holiday season" here. How about you, anyone else starting to feel festive![]()
Is the spider a Spin Doctor ?I will.
A spider is teaching me how to make cobwebs.
It's really difficult.

Traditionally, ppl use pomegranate berries. We used fresh cranberries from Thanksgiving. Win Win.What's the red stuff in the center?
Dear Lyn,Good morning/afternoon/ evening all. Hope everyone's well.
I've had quite a busy week, even managed a train trip to Birmingham in the Midlands to meet my sister and collect Alfie from her. They are away all weekend so I offered to look after him until they pick him up next week. We only had a few hours together in Brum just enough time for lunch before we had to catch our respective trains home.
Alfie is a very good traveller and just curls up on the floor of trains and buses. He was pretty funny when we went through a shopping centre en the way back to the station and had to walk over a bridge with glass sides, he just hit the floor - spread eagled and refused to move so we had to carry him. I knew he doesn't like bridges over any water but wasn't expecting that reaction in a mall
He's quite at home here and we managed a quick walk today before the rain.
We have the start of Storm Darragh battering us at the moment with heavy rain and winds of 50+mph in my area which are expected to reach more than 60 mph by Sunday.
It already sounds terrifying.
It will be even worse for other areas so there's bound to be some serious damage. Are you affected by this @zolasmum and @MaNaAk ? Stay safe if you are.
Alfie is a creature of habit and is pestering me for his food now, so I'd better go and see to him. TTFN
Yeah, I get a lot of it sent to me wrapping up fossils to protect them in the post.Don't you just love bubble wrap!I still can't resist it. Try twisting it

Hello Tidgy - I am very impressed by all the things you do - I too like to have an interesting life ! I am particularly fond of the sea, which I go to look at every day - and marvel at how it always looks different. Down the coast a bit from where I live, there are some well-known surfing areas, and, as you can see, I am getting pretty good at it. I don't suppose you get a chance to learn to surf where you live, but if you ever come over here for a vist, I would love to meet you and we could see who would catch the biggest waves together ! You would like it, I'm sure.
Zola
p.s.the waves are not usually this big ! ! !
You've made me hungry to tryTraditionally, ppl use pomegranate berries. We used fresh cranberries from Thanksgiving. Win Win.
Thanksgiving is maybe the equivalent here. People travel to have a meal together. It kicks off the holiday season here.
