Yes they do. Today a BBC programme did a spoof article about a new Swiss cheese that makes mice leave a house. It had been accidentally sent to shops and anyone who ate it didn't want to go home anymore and wanted to hide in the park.

Yes they do. I just finished reading one where it claimed the Prez had instituted an order that there would only be 30 days in every month, so today is actually April 2nd.

It may give him ideas. Wouldn't put anything past him.

Something you just mustn't miss - when Zola's dad took him for a walk today, he met a 60 ish aged woman, who said that when the family tortoise came out of hibernation each year they sat her in a bowl of GUINNESS, ! ! - which the tortoise drank, and also presumably absorbed from her other end, too !
I wish I had been with him, as I would have asked a lot more questions !
Has anyone ever heard about this before?

Today I voted in the county and municipal elections. It is rare to have two elections on the same day here in Finland. The election day is 13.4., but advanced voting is possible from 2.4. to 8.4. A cool thing about these elections, is that you don't have to be a citizen to vote like in our other elections. A not so cool thing is that the voter turnout has been low.

Hope everyone had a good day. It was chilly in the 50's or so. We dug around and located our septic tank so we can plan any deck modifications...think hot tub!
The current deck is resting on the top of the tank, 6" below the surface. Not sure what kind of construction code that breaks but we all know that is a no no.

Got to pack tomorrow...got the mail held, got the car service from the airport in Montego bay to the resort. The Subnados are charged up...but my suitcase is almost full but it doesn't have any clothes yet! What the heck...2 shorts, 3 tees, 2 swimsuits is all I need...and 1 pair of slacks for the lotus leaf dinner....LOL

We put out 2 hummingbird feeders...they may be by while we're gone.

As a follower of rules, i won't comment on specifics but.....

Societies always get exactly what they fight for, or not.....its kind of funny that way.
You would think we would learn that "effects" are never revealed until the group that promoted a position are long gone.

"Elections" is a concept of allowing those with an investment in a particular society can have a voice. Nothing but nothing removes that voice of the invested faster than allowing those with no investment, a vote.

We know this to be as factual as simple math but humans will pretend anything to justify....LOL
