We have had quite a bit of rain in the past few days, but it has perked up a lot of the plants, and our little buddleia is growing well. The petunias tend to get rather limp, and don't always recover, but new flowers have kept on coming !
I know you love your icecream, Natrah - have you tried MACKIE'S of Scotland ? We get it in big tubs in Morrisons and it is our all-time favourite - apart from the ones we had in Venice, years ago ! We get it in vanilla, or in honeycomb, and it has a lovely fresh taste. Just thought I would mention it !
Zola had his walk on the breakwater today, but it was fairly windy, and very few people around. When Zola comes back, I always give him a little warm wash in the bathroom wash-basin - I think he must get a fair bit of salt on his skin, and it seems to make it very dry. He used to object, but now he likes it - especially when I trickle water high over his head. Then he gets dried and we have our stroking session, while his dad gets the supper ready.
We have a couple more bird feeders outside the kitchen window - 12 now, I think -it really is lovely seeing all the young ones learning how to use the feeders !
Love to you, Jacky,Angel Daisy, and all our forum friends from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxx
