Yeah I keep him pretty wet lol, he is actually in my Russian enclosure here because I had to clean out all the rotten greens in his enclosure which is why he is dry. I like to keep his uneaten food in there for a few days for the isopods to munch on and then remove it. I said this in my post about my redfoot, but I raised him up the same way. No UVB and basking light, just a led fixture with a DHP to keep the ambient temps at 85 and humidity stays at 90%.Oh man. . . that shell looks GREAT!!
Very sad to hear this terrible news. That tortoise was looking so beautiful.Haven't posted in a while but a sad day today. Came home and little foot had died while I was at work. Its been brutally hot here so I brought him inside and while gone the AC in the room I was keeping him went out and it got above 100 in there and he didnt make it. Thankfully everyone else seems to be OK, but they are all from hotter regions.
