I have been lurking for a while and would like to share a pic of my 3 Burmese stars. The smaller one was incubated for male, the larger two are likely females, but time will tell.

Where are you and how have these been raised? The carapace growth is excellent.

But where are their heads?

I'm in Philadelphia. Unfortunately don't have a yard being in the city, but they are outside on my deck during the summer and of course inside for the winter. I took them outside briefly for the photo - I guess they did not like the cold (it was in the 50s) and were shy, thus all tucked away in their shells.

But the bigger ones did come out a little

How are you housing them? They look fantastic and I'd love to hear your secret.

I house them currently (during winter months) inside Vision cages with moist cypress mulch/coco coir as substrates. Water dish, feed with different greens, mazuri 2-3 days a week. Temp allowed to drop to 65 at night (usually a little higher), high of 85 during the day. MVB for lighting. Nothing out of the ordinary to what most recommend here.

During the summer I keep them outside on my deck in a 150g Rubbermaid feed trough/tub. Soil, with some plants, clay pots for hides. Feed a lot of wild dandelions and plantains along with other weeds/flowers.
