Hey guys, wanted to share my light stand idea.
I was in a situation where I needed to hang my lights because they were clipped onto the side of the container I had being that I had no where to hang them from. I looked at the zoo med light hangers but I had multiple lights I needed on a stand and with two tanks that would of been nearly $100 just for light stands, so I opted to find another idea and this is what I came up with,
Adjustable Boom Stand
36" to 70" adjustable height
30" to 48" adjustable boom length
it's only 8 pounds so if you have 3 or so lights on it you will want to weight down the bottom, unfortunately the lights I have don't have a hook on them for me to put a chain on them like certain zoo med ones do but I made them secure by wrapping the cord around 2x and zip tying them secure
I like it because it's full adjustable and holds secure
Just wanted to share with you guys, it sure beats paying a ton of money for multiple light stands.
I have an older thick metal mic stand as well but those are $50 or so but I think it would be worth it.
