in my zooboo's(my sulcata) cage bird nest fungus has been growing, i have been trying to get rid of it but keeps coming back. can this stuff be harmful if my torts eat it?

I found it on wikipedia-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyathus- Cyathus aka Bird Nest Fungi and other like shrooms, have not been proven harmful, but I would take any chances 
! Mushrooms are so particular, and there are so many that are toxic, I wouldn't leave it. So, I found this website saying how to get rid of it- http://www.ehow.com/how_5869996_kill-bird_s-nest-fungus.html (I'd replace the soap a natural weed killer, soapcould hurt your other plants!) http://www.mulchbarn.net/fungi.php (the bottom looks promising)- hope it clears up for you!

I would be very careful with any mushroom that you didn't buy from the store. They can look so similar. A new member just post the other day about losing her tort to a poisionous mushroom.
every day sense they arrived i have been trying to get rid of them but they keep popping up!
