Hello all I am new to the site and just received my new tort today! Her name is Shelly and is about 5 inches and is just completely awesome. I have done a lot of research over the past few months before obtaining her and have built her what i consider a nice home. It is a 4'x3' tort table with a Zoo Med Deep dome lamp using a 100 watt zoomed Repti Halogen. The substrait is comprised of play sand and coir brick. i will put up a few photos of the pretty lady.

Welcome to the forum!
Shelly is really cute! Does your light have UVB in it?
If not i suggest looking at a power sun uv light.

Welcome! Will she be getting some outside time? If so and because of her age, you could most likely not have to have a UVb light at all. Is she your first tortoise?
