I just finished building the new vivarium for my tortoise! I’ll attach pictures of both enclosures ( the previous enclosure smaller one and the new is the larger one). I’m wondering if it’s normal for my tortoise to change its behaviour after the move?

Is it okay to keep the temperatures overnight at 86°F on the cold side, with humidity levels between 80% and 99%?

What kind and size basking bulb is that? If it's a mercury, stop using it. It will still cause pyramiding. It needs to be an incandescent flood bulb. 50 Watt is probably big enough.
86 is fine, I personally like it at 80. We usually raise the temps to 85 if one seems to be possibly getting sick.
Others say 90 all over is fine, however, I don't like cooking my tortoises all day long with no cooler areas.
In the wild, they can dig down or dig under a bush to find little cooler temps. I'm our small enclosed enclosures, they can't.

I use this one for basking and I got two ceramic heaters for night and on basking area i got one microclimate dimmer b1 digital thermostat and I set to never go up 100f so basking area always 95f~99F

Also do you have digital monitoring? I couldn’t help but notice the analog gauge in the back there, they can be kind of inaccurate just a heads up🙂
