I come from a cat lover family. I have always had cats, took Big Bubba in my big truck with me...But this kitten/cat is pushing all the boundaries, and I am bothered so much by her I'm thinking about taking her to the humane soc....and turning her in ...and I don't believe in that. She lays on the kitchen table, on the kitchen counter, she acts retarded, stares at me when I yell at her like she's dumb or something...DSCN2878.JPGthis is why my phone is always off the hookDSCN2855.JPGthen there is this...DSCN2829.JPG
Frankly, I'm not dealing with her very well...DSCN2830.JPG

Maggie, this kind of animal antics is what keeps us young, moving and on our toes.
Just look at that beautiful face.
You can do it, you got just as much fight as she does
Hmmm, maybe she's a younger you? I remember some of your stores you've told me.
Hey @Yvonne G, is this cat like a younger Maggie?

Us animal people have animals in our lives so we can share our time with another creature. Which includes all the intricacies of their personality, good or bad. This 1 as @wellington said sounds to be keeping you on your toes, or at least feet cleaning up after her. She seems very comfortable spending her time with you.

Sounds like the problem is with the human, not the animal... As usual...

I like Yvonne's thought. Could she be deaf? Have you noticed if she can hear or not?
You can try tin foil on items you don't want her on. Maybe a water spray bottle? Can of rocks to shake loudly at her when she is doing something wrong.
I have never had a cat get on counters or tables. I don't know why though. Seems most people have trouble with that.

I have never had a cat that didn't like to be high up. My cat eats on top of my fridge and sleeps in the top bedroom cupboards.

Maybe because my first two were when I was a kid and they were indoor outdoor, and mutts, so got their high antics in outside.
My last three were purebred, two Persians and a Bengal, strictly house cats and when I was an adult.
Unless they did it when I was sleeping lol.

I have always thought of cats as an animal that "Really" has their own mind and individual mind set. This one seems to be of the mind set of those kids that just wanted to be in trouble and enjoy that type of attention. Maybe a 'little' detention would help!
