Redfoot Identification

Since there seems to be alot of Redfoot traffic on the forum these days. I was hoping someone might be able to identify some Redfoots that were given to me. I was told Northern, but after reading a bunch of Redfoot threads over the last month I am not sure. Thanks in advance

Probably the most consistent and easiest to use characteristic is the plastron color or pattern. Every photo I have ever seen of a known Southern Red-foot has a mostly dark plastron and Northerns have mostly light.

Of course, the actual dividing line between the two groups is not well-defined- it may be the Amazon River or something else.

Do the first and second vertebral scutes look normal?

onarock the first vertebral caught my eye when I first looked at the pic.. and is something that is no doubt strictly cosmetic.. if that matters to you.
