Hi guys, moving and there is a great location in new yard for my redfoot pen. But, there are rhododendrons in the space... I know those come up as toxic... Is this a hazard for my redfoots or will they avoid the Rhodis on their own?
Thanks for the input!

Never trust your tortoise to avoid plants that are toxic. Remove it before your Redfoot eats it.

Prepare an area in your yard ahead of time. Make a pen and then rip out/remove the grass inside and lay down your own soil or whatever you want to use. It wont permanently damage your yard. I put down 2" thick 20" cement pads in my whole 8' x 12' pen and then dumped 10" of mulch and soil down and some bermuda grass seed. The result is just bermuda grass. I don't recommend weed killer, but that's what I had used to kill the area weeks prior. (It's been three years now.)
