It's been an over cast day with sprinkles, Mid 70's and these guys are out everywhere.

It was only a matter of time:) I thought last year you were on fire with rescues but then you start this year off with a bang! Sweet finds!

It's tough seeing all the ones in the road that have been squashed.

Thank you for being their hero. Sadly, here in Eastern PA, i have not seen a box turtle in the wild. The numbers are declining so badly. But i do help all the turtles cross the road if possible. Big snappers, well maybe not. but i might try to herd it out of the road.

Lol yep,....I did have a sad one though. Couldn't get turned around in time for 3 toed, she was going as fast as she could to cross the road. She didn't make it and had eggs.

Damn, i only SEE a dozen or so boxies a year here in the foothills of the Ozarks. I thought that was pretty decent.
