Russian Tortoise Healthy Shell?

The tortoise looks fine to me it doesn't seem like shell rot because the shell is firm. It could be because of low calcium intake, get reptile calcium powder (3$ for a lot) and shake it onto your torts food. This will make the sell grow over the white lines..
Hi guys, this is my Russian named Ned. I got him from a lovely family on Craigslist who got him from petco. He's a male and he's six years old. I'm worried about his shell, he has white lines along the bottom of his shell and the black part is fading. Is that normal? He feels normal and everything is still firm. It doesn't peel off at all when I scratch it.
