I received this three yr old sulcata about 3months ago, he had really bad pyrmading. He was starting to look better, but yesterday I notices these white spots on his shell and what looks like a scrape. Is this shell root or something else?

Looks like normal growth to me. I noticed that when mine went thru growth spurts, these faded spots would show up, kinda like stretch marks. They even out in color eventually.

To me it looks like minor scraping. Like he's going through an opening that's a bit too small for him.

Thanks guys, i really appreciate your responses. I will keep a closer eye on Bowser see if can find where he hurt himself on the shell.

Those first two photos do look like a little scrape to me too, so hopefully you’ll catch what he’s rubbed himself on lol.

Welcome to the forum! Handsome fella🥰
