I'm not the right person to ask.🤔 on that subject especially for Red foot. 🤗 And many other species. I'm just a student here ☺️ but I will add this... I once was taking care of a little box turtle with red eyes. Well it turns out he was a she. I guess she didn't read the book. Sometimes stuff happens.😘😉🐢

I think that is because your tortoise is still too immature to have the well-defined V of a female. The tail still definitely does not appear to be that of a male. It is way too short and small.

How big is your tortoise now?
