Weed poison

Hi everyone.
I have used weed sprays in past. Just the stuff you can buy in stores (nothing commercial) in my backyard- although I haven't for probably 2 1/2 years or so. Can my tortoise eat anything that grows in my yard? I live in AZ and have some common mallow growing- I heard they like it and it is good for them. I have a young Russian tortoise. Too risky? Or you think it is ok? We had a lot of rain last year- but I just worry. I know similar questions have been asked- but what is the latest on this topic.

Your post is rather unclear. Have you not used it for 2 1/2 years? If so I think it should be fine.

Sorry- No, I have not used anything since Spring 2023.....

I think that it should be fine to feed your tortoise then.

Thank you. My son was excited when we learned a weed in our yard could be given to her- I just worry a lot! We love our little tortoise so much.

I agree that after 2 1/2 years, you should be fine. The weeds popping up and growing there are a good indicator that the weed killer has dissipated.
