I've got no idea what the dot is but if your tortoise is 2 years old and that small then something is definitely wrong cause I Got a one year old sulcata tortoise and he is bigger than that. @Tom ?

Yea he is almost 2 eats everyday fresh water available basking temp 100 f. Plenty of room to roam. Place to hide from heat or in general. Fresh grass in cage and also offered. Fertilizer free. Cool side in 80sf and humid areas and dry areas. He just isn’t growing. The picture in my profile is same Sulcata. That pic in my profile was take Nov 2020

I've no idea about the spot but in case you haven't seen this before, this caresheet will give you a wider range of plants for diet and help you check your temps etc.

This is this morning. I have an acrylic cap that goes on one side to keep the humidity higher on one side. The side with the single lamp is cooler and dryer.
Mazuri tort pellets
Zilla calcium
Zilla vitamin spray
Red lett
Green lett
Carrots
Collards
Sweet potato
I rotate all that throughout the week.

Dry side is 80-85 humidity 20%
Basking side 95-110 humidity 80-90
Inside hide humidity is also 80-90%
Lights run 9-9 lights on and he wakes right up and starts roaming around.

Also sorry for the delayed response

No I have a acrylic cap that I use. I took it off to do the morning mist. After I mist I put it on and it covers 1/3 of the enclosure
