If my Sally (the Sully) sees this picture of Sherman looking soooo handsome….
I’m DEAD!
He is her exact size!!
I always thought I wanted her to …
Well…. “Mate”..
But when she had laid 28 eggs on her own (infertile) … I quickly changed my mind!
What a headache that was!!
It took her somewhere like 2-4 months to have them all!

Hello Natrah - I think the medical check-up went ok - I will only be told if my blood test results are bad - if they are good, I just won't hear from them. I am still feeling very wobbly, and my hair is on end because it's too painful to comb it still !
Zola managed a walk today, and met a Dutch family - of course, he was born in Holland, so they were especially pleased to meet him. Then he had a stroke by the fire - he really enjoyed it, and so did I. I love it when he puts his head close to my face so he can feel me breathing on him.
I hope Jacky enjoyed her final soak - she will be pleased, no doubt, to have no more drowning sessions.

She's another Sulcata who only stayed with Sherman for a short while before she needed to be moved because he wouldn't leave her alone! Sue how long were they together I remember when Sherman thought that all his Christmasses had come at once!

The sanctuary where Sherman lives did until recently have a second Sulcata, Albertina…thought she was a he initially! Sherman fell in love instantly They tried introductions but Sherman isn’t one to woo the ladies & spent the whole time trying to mount her so they had to separate them so she could get some peace. She came to them with a lot of pyramiding & some health issues so she has gone elsewhere for better care.
Natrah..They weren’t together all the time she was there only when they could be supervised but it became apparent very quickly it wasn’t going to work …for her!

She was a lot smaller than Sherman but Sally sounds like she could keep him in check
