Ooops, my bad :p

Tonight I picked up my 2 new leopard tortoises. I forgot how small they start out!

I needed more leopards to raise smoothly to be examples for my presentations ;)

Here they are!

Sorry for the "attachment" pics. I am not at the computer and have no clue how to do tiny pic on my phone.

ya got me!! ya got me!! and thank you :)

Jlant85, so far I have only raised one smooth. He is now 15months old and very smooth. I have been using the Hot and Humid method. In a closed chamber while inside and a heavily planted large pen when outside. I like the results and want to do the same with these 2 new ones.
I have 2 more that are a year old and were started dry. We'll see how they develop now that they too are in humid conditions when indoors and have a nice pen while outdoors.

Jlant, I keep high 80-90% humidity when inside.

Mchong, she is going to give me their exact hatch date but they are only about a month old.

They hatched sometime in late May (after May 10th but before June 1.) Sorry I don't have an exact date for you. Glad you like them!!!

exact doesn't matter ;) I'll say June 1st to keep it easy for records.

Today I'm building their "baby playpen" for outside. I'll share pics when it's done :)

Certainly does sound like an addict. :D I recall using that excuse a few times myself. :D

Hey it's all for spreading the word on raising them humid, Tom!
I blame you :D

Hey, there is no evidence to suggest that my obsession is contagious... :)

Morning soaks.

I'm very exited to have new babies to raise smooth :)

Besides, I have a whole yard that will be dedicated to the leopards once they are large enough ;)
