Good evening everyone!

I'm not sure that @The_Four_Toed_Edward is getting alerts for this thread because when I tried to copy her in her name didn't come up on the list. Anyway I hope she's okay and I noticed on Cold Dark Room that she said it was -27 degrees Celsius in Finland. Anyway I hope you feel a bit better tomorrow after your injection Angie and I hope you're okay Sue. I am bunged up with cold although I have been out.

I did meet my friends for lunch at Tomassi's before going shopping. I needed to get some boots and I couldn't do it next weekend because I have the orchestra concert. The weekend after that is the Southend Chamber Music Club Concert and another concert at the Wigmore Hall.

Sue I remember you doing that cleaning job now but you're doing quite a bit of cleaning with Dickie, George and the Ping Pings. Angie I think the weather isn't doing your headaches any good but you have Richard and Zola looking after you.

Goodnight everyone

I am that’s true! Dickie is taking the most time as we are trying to get her to eat especially because she has lost some weight since coming out of hibernation.
After her soak I let her wander in the utility room & she heads straight for the back door climbing on our shoes wanting to get out. Today as it was milder I let her go outside & she straightaway headed for the Flox & started nibbling. I took her apple cabbage & lettuce out to her & she ate a
little except for the lettuce. I tried her with some young dandelion leaves but not interested. Apart from the leaves everything else is hand fed which takes ages. All the while I’m on show to the neighbours in my PJs & dressingown 🫢 Once she’s had enough, which isn’t much at the moment, I leave her for a bit then bring her back in, wash the mud off her & put her under her lamps having tidied up the earlier rearranging.
Today George took the opportunity to get in her bed section & she gave him a very long look once she noticed. After that she went to her bed once he’d gone & hasnt been out again. She really hates being indoors.
Pete is doing some diy on her outdoor house which got damp over winter so she can’t use that yet but at least we’ve got some milder temperatures for now.

Good evening everyone!

I'm afraid I still have my cold and I hope to get over it by the weekend when I have the orchestra concert (see attached). I could do without this but I suppose it is due to all the rain that we've had. Anyway I hope you're feeling a bit better today Angie and that you've had you're injection.

George and Dickie look very cute but please could we see the budgies. I hope they appreciate the care that you're giving them and also I'm pleased to see that Dickie's run is about the same size as Jacky's enclosure. How long is Pete going for Sue?

Zola keep looking after Angie. I also thought of Ggggggaaaaarrrryyyyyy when I found a baby snail.

Goodnight everyone

I am in my hometown for our winter holiday. It is a week off, usually in the end of February or the start of March. It used to be called skiing holiday and on paper universities don't have one, but many departments still take it off.

It snowed about 12 cm last night, I think the total amount of snow now is at about 37 cm. I helped my father clear out snow this afternoon, we usually don't get that much all at once, but instead the snow builds up over time.

Hope your cold/sinus problems soon disappear with the better weather we’re getting but I do wonder if we might get more rain again before long.
Dickies enclosure is about 5 ft in length. Originally it was 6ft but it was too long for where it is so Pete shortened it. It has to be there due to the electric sockets although we do have to use an extension lead.
Dickie was out for longer today & ate a little more
The birds are chirruping away as I write this. They need to be covered up otherwise they will carry on until the lights go out.
The photo below shows Peter looking at himself in the mirror. Lucy is the greenish one on the swing.

We have had some very poor weather, but yesterday it was fairly sunny, and Richard took Zola for a walk on the breakwater. Zola enjoyed it, but he was very cold when he got back, and was in a strange mood in the evening - very restless, and producing several rather messy poos ! I think he over-did things a bit, and we won't let him go there again for a while. Still, he had a nice rest by the fire with me this afternoon.
When we go out in the car now, there are lots of flowers by the road - drifts of snowdrops, lots of daffodils and one smallish area with lots of primroses. There is one place just by the coast where there lots of violets every year - we shall have to check on that soon - taking the camera, of course.
There is a smallish town some way along the coast, called Sidmouth - some years ago, a wealthy Canadian businessman left all his money to the town when he died, because his mother had loved the place so much-and he did,too - he wanted to benefit the town in various different ways, and the first thing he wanted was to have thousands and thousands of daffodils there - so I'm hoping we might manage to go there soon, to see the place now.
I do hope you will be okay for Saturday, Natrah, and that things will go really well for you.
Love to all from Angie and Zola xxxxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone and especially Zola, Sapphire (@Cathie G), Edward (@The_Four_Toed_Edward), Dickie, Sally and Squirt,

Zola did you leave those presents because you wanted to spend more on the breakwater? Is this your way of telling your mum that you wanted to stay a bit longer? At least Daisy made a mess on the rubbish bags.

My cold is at the stuffy stage but my ears are a bit blocked which is not what I want before a concert. I shall probably have to have them suctioned again but it will have to be when the cold has gone a bit and after the concert. I'll get by as my ears have been worse than this before but I do hope it doesn't get any worse before Saturday.

Lovely photos of the budgies Sue and I bet your household is musical with the budgies and George's 3 am miaows. Edward your holiday coincides with the half-term hear bug anyway have you got any plans for the week and Cathie do you have as much snow as Edward.

Angie how are your headaches? It sounds more picturesque there than it is here but I can see the daffodils coming through though!

Goodnight everyone

Hello Natrah - it has been sunny today, and we went to look at the violets that we have seen in previous years at a place called Duckpool - unfortunately there were very few - here's what they looked like several years ago.

Good evening everyone!

Angie that's a beautiful photo of Zola and the violets. They'll probably be more violets later on. I've noticed crocuses on the cliffs and also some lovely dandelions waiting for Jacky. I hope you're headaches are better. I feel clearer this evening but I have decided to leave tomorrow's rehearsal and practice here before an earlier night.

Goodnight everyone

Good evening everyone!

I still have my cold which was I decided to leave last night's rehearsal and today I did my own practice. I'm also a bit fed up about having my ears suctioned again but it can't be helped. I did have some good news in that the pupil's replacement certificate arrived yesterday and I'm looking forward to presenting it to him tomorrow. @Chefdenoel10 I still think that there's a possibility that the neighbour may have had something to do with the disappearance of the original but anyway they are someone else's problem now. By the way Sue are the budgies named after Peter and Lucy from EastEnders?

It’s possible, she did watch EastEnders! Peter was called something else originally as J thought he was a she! I think she has used the same names over the years for most of her birds as it was easier for her to remember!
Sorry to hear how much your cold has affected you. Is the ear syringing done on the NHS?

Natrah,
Just a quick note….

My neighbor has taken my W2.
A form from my job to get my taxes done.
I have it on video but the real problem is we have a new mailman/woman almost every two weeks.
They were the ones who put my mail in her box. It is illegal to go into someone’s box to retrieve any mail that is yours or anyone else’s.
So there you have it…
This girl is pure EVIL!
(Said in the way the movies say it… E-VIL!) 🤣

The joke is on her though because I just printed it from my jobs website and my taxes (while pathetic) are all done. At least I don’t owe the government anything….
It’s funny because what I got back seemed to pay for the gentleman who did my taxes!
😳

Point being…. Her last day from the posted letter on her door is THIS SATURDAY!!!
We are sure she won’t move but then the landlord will do an eviction by the courts and will have the police escort her OUT.
Maybe another month? 🤕

So many things to tell you guys when I get a chance to get in here too!!
I don’t get alerts any more AT ALL????
I am following this thread yet I’m left out of the loop!
I am trying to catch up since last I heard your neighbors finally moved!!!
That’s how far back I am! 😫😭
I am trying though!!
I wish you all well and Angie’s headaches are better and I will try to get on here this weekend.
I have a surprise……🤭😉

But for now… tonight… 🤮🤢🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤒😷😷😷🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨🤧🫶

P.S. A W2 form has my social security number AND date of birth…
Can she make up a stolen identity using my info??? If anyone knows if there is a problem here PLEEEEEEEASE let me know… I am very worried about my social security number being known by this ….. girl.

I think Sue may be muddling up the Harry Potter books with 'The Chronicles Of Narnia'.

Natrah
No my train of thought led me to also think of Harry Potter! That’s what hearing budgies squawking all day does to my brain 😂 All magical type entertainment. My most favourite was the old Charmed series. I still watch it again when its repeated.
