Dear Sue,

If you find Venus then Neptune is to the right but more difficult to spot with the naked eye because it is further away. Saturn is to the right of Neptune but lower on the horizon. If you can see the moon to the left of Venus then Uranus is to the left but more difficult to spot with the naked eye. Jupiter is the bright star on the left followed by Mercury and Mars is the red star on the far left. My pupil mentioned a group of stars called Beetlejuice but I declined to say that I have only ever heard of the film Beetlejuice which my friends and I saw at the cinema starring Alec Baldwin 🤣.

Natrah

PS: It stretches right across but tomorrow is meant to be even better.
Thanks for that I’ll have a look tomorrow night 🤞

Good evening everyone!

I've just seen six planets and I will go out again later to see if I can spot Saturn. The weather has been better than yesterday but it is very cold. Angie how is your tooth? I remember when I had a broken tooth because of grinding and it was like that for years before a dentist smoothed it down. I hope it's not too sensitive and I would recommend rubbing Sensodyne toothpaste on it. Did you get to go out today? Chef how are you and Edward as well? Sue have you seen the planets?

Goodnight everyone

Good evening everyone!

All are visible tonight. Angie I hope you're all okay especially Richard. I know he will be thinking about his brother. I saw some beautiful crocuses on my way into Southend.

Goodnight everyone

I don’t know how to tell which of the many stars in the night sky are the planets. How do you tell? Other than Venus I can’t identify any apart from perhaps Mars that looked a bit pinkish but also like it was part of a star pattern.
Too cold to stand outside tonight

Good evening everyone!

Yes it was lovely Chef but below is a photo of the scone and jam that I had today. The Wilkinson's Jam is one of my favourites and it is made in Tiptree Essex. I enjoyed lunch at my usual theatre cafe before going to the craft fair where I found two turtle brooches. I hope everyone is okay. I may not be able to post so much this week because my orchestra is doing a concert on Saturday.

I hope Zola was able to get out today although it was very cold. It was very foggy this morning but otherwise sunshine all day.

Goodnight everyone

Dear Natrah - I love the little brooches - what a lucky find! Zola went for his walk along the breakwater, although it was cold - he was really tired when he got home, and was happy to be stroked by the fire to warm up and go to sleep. In the morning, he had gone to look at the sea at his usual lookout point, and had met a group of American ladies who thought he was wonderful, and Richard asked the most enthusiastic one if she would like to hold Zola. She was delighted, and Richard took a photo - when she gave him back, she said "Exquisite !" He also met some people from the local wildlife group who were watching for whales, as some have been seen not far away !
Love to you, Jacky, Angel Daisy , and all our forum friends from Angie and the Exquisite Zola xxxxxxxxx

Good evening everyone!

Angie you must be so proud of Zola and I think he made their day. Not much has been happening here apart from the fact that I noticed Venus, Uranus, Jupiter and Mars on the way home.

Before going to teach I had no end of trouble trying to get access my Piano Teachers Association account and what with the Internet I could have done with advice from Sue. I was rather annoyed with the Association because I had this trouble last year but I think I've resolved. I also cheered when my first pupil (an adult) arrived and that she hadn't brought her music because it didn't fit in her bag 🤣🤣🤣.

Goodnight everyone

Natrah, Sleeping Beauty and Angel Daisy

PS: We have a very musical Great Tit who keeps singing every time I leave the flat.

🤪 switch it off & start again! The other day my ipad decided it wasn't going to let me delete my emails. For some reason a message appeared telling me I had to sign in to my email account then it was ok. Of course I had no idea of my password so flaffed around for the best part of an hour! I don’t know whether I have a bug in the software or what. You sure you want advice frome me? 😂
Dickie has been very active today after she had a long soak. The sun was out so I put her in the garden & she had a good wander remapping her territory.
She isn’t eating yet but I’m pleased with how she is after her hibernation.
I had to put the heavy breeze blocks in place so she couldn’t escape from the garden & tonight when I went outside to put out the hedgehog food, I fell over one of them in the dark & landed heavily on my right wrist. I don’t think it’s broken but probably badly sprained. The little watering can I was holding was completely flattened by my hand. It was pretty painful at the time but I’ve put a wrist support on so will see how it goes. I seem more accident prone than I used to be!
