Congrats. Isn't it the coolest, to hatch your own. My first was last November. Little cutie. I take it your keeping it? I never even named mine. I like the name you picked. Do you have more to hatch?

My son chose the name, apparently from some video game (?)
I have 2 more chalked eggs, my female laid 2 on new years day but 2 more were egg bound, induced and got them laid a week later. So I'm hoping in a week we have 2 more little ones.
Cannot believe how crazy exciting this is!!!

20160304_071307-1.jpg 20160304_071248-1.jpg his little face is even cuter than his little butt!
Had his first soak, drank a bit, not interested yet if food but I'm keeping fresh chopped greens in there daily.

Daily 10 min soak enough or more frequently? ?

Brooder box environment is 88 degrees F and 80% humidity.

I soak daily for about 20 minutes. Baby Russians are so round and adorable. They remind me of my kids when they were really little, with a snowsuit on. Little arms n legs barely sticking straight out.
