It's not anything American, nor is it an Amboinensis, or Cuora/Cistoclemmys for that matter..........

It's a Cyclemmys, probably C. Gemeli ( Indian Leaf Turtle )

The shell still looks to rounded on the edges to be a leaf turt, i am still with Kristina on this..:rolleyes::rolleyes:

So why can't you see two yellow longitudinal stripes running along the side of its head?

Head shape, eye size, shell type/size and coloration doesn't put it anywhere near Cuora/Cystoclemmys........There are around 12-15 different Cyclemmys subspecies, and only a few of them have any kind of jagged shell......Heosemys Spinosa yes, Cyclemmys no.......

Cyclemmys Dentata - Notice the similarities? - Again, it's either Gemeli, or another Cyclemmys.......

This person only posted once. How did you guys figure out he is from India. I'm just curious.

Also I'd really like Louis_tortoise to post again
Mods have mysterious powers.

I also think it is some kind of leaf turtle.

Interesting! I'm on a Jeep forum and someone was posting like this there. I told this person to take the turtle back of they really had it and let it go... Yikes.
