You guys ever catch your Torti in a compromising position? Well now and then I'll walk by or check my camera to see what Heidi is doing. Today I caught this girl stuck in a tight spot. It's funny because you can literally see her pausing to figure out how she's going to maneuver her way out of it. You can see her thinking Lol I used to helicopter parent her when I first got her for fear of her flipping over or staying stuck, but I know she needs to learn on her own. I still check on her of course! I just don't go in and fix her unless she actually gets stuck or flips over which she rarely does. Attached some photos! She had to take a sip of water for all of her exhausting efforts!

My little guy sometimes gets stuck and also gets stuck in another way too. If he sees something new he'll just sit and study it for maybe a couple of hours. I've actually watched him do this with his neck stretched out just looking. When he made up his mind about the fancy colors I had put on his hide, I knew he hated it ? he walked past and slept beside it. Of course I had to fix it for him. I learned my lesson.? No fancy stuff for my little guy.

Haha what a personality! Mine will sit in her hide outs and just stare out of them for hours. She'll move her head if I speak to her but otherwise she just looks on with those dark little beady eyes. She also started eating the new moss I put in her enclosure today so I removed it, to which she clearly had an attitude!
