Well, it wasn't as awful as I thought. He got an injection, got stoned and funny. He pushed a 200 pound woman in a chair clear across the room. The Vet got mad saying he was supposed to be getting sleepy, and we were getting him all excited. Well hell, what did she expect us to do in that room for half an hour? So she turned off the light on us....hahaha.
I won't know anything until tomorrow. They marked 2 white blobs but whispered so I couldn't hear. Jerks. So there's one more day of waiting....

It's very unprofessional to whisper and not tell you what's going on. I would be a little unhappy about that. Was he acting sick or is this a regular check up? What do they expect a tortoise to do? He's a little bulldozer that wants to go somewhere, anywhere, and he's going to do it. They're lucky he didn't ram through the wall. I have actually heard of tortoises doing that. Some people say you should treat the big tortoises more like livestock, maybe vets should take that advice also.

I can't remember if she told you all about it or not, and I'm too sleepy to go back and look through past posts so - Bob has been very sick, lethargic and moping inside his shed for a month or so. The vet told Maggie she thought he had stones (?) and that Maggie needs to schedule a test (I can't remember if it was an ultra sound or what), and it was going to cost around $500, a figure way, way out of Maggie's price range. Thank goodness she was able to raise the money and she had the test today. According to Maggie, she saw a couple of white spots on the 'screen', but the radiologist has to 'read' the test and they'll be getting back to her. To be continued.

Any news Maggie? perhaps all of his remodeling and adventures lately have him tuckered out? Pushing a big fatty around is a good sign for Bob...lol.

Ha Ha My first thought reading this "a big fatty" was a pot reference. Where is my mind at.

I wonder if an ultrasound would give a better picture of the area in question?
